Tanzanian cellular network company Zantel has announced today
their partnership with united against malaria through malaria Safe Program to
promote awareness on provision and treatment of malaria.
The partnership focuses of four pillars of Maleria Safe, wich
is to education, protection, visibility and advocacy.
When he was speaking with press Zantel’s chief Commercial officer said, “we are proud
to be a part of this important communications campaign to help end Maleria
related deaths in Tanzania by using our core capacity as a telecom company to
get the messages out”
On other hand Leodeger Tenga, who is the ambassador of Maleria and
the president of Tanzania Football Federation said, “it is a great honor to
participate in the launch of this important partnership, this partnership will
allow Tanzania to reach the ambitious goal of ending malaria- related deaths by
2015”.
The initiative will also be expanded to Zantel customers through
distribution of Maleria related leaflets, posters and articles using Epiq bongo
Star Search, Epiq open Mic and other company platform.
